I hold the seed,
Warm and burning with life.
Small? Yes.
Insignificant? No.
For though now small and simple
It can grow into a great thing.
If planted.
If watered.
If nourished.
In my mind’s eye I see the seed sprouting,
Growing, reaching its leafy fingers toward the stars.
It’s enormous, stunning, impossible to miss.
Already I can feel the flames
Curling up from this tiny seed
And burning the world in change.
One candle lights the next,
Sharing its warmth
Until the world is brightened.
This tiny seed,
This small and simple seed,
Can change the world.
But first,
I must plant it.
